Sun & Moon Expansion Burning Shadows - A Review

We have officially started translations for the latest Sun & Moon Burning Shadows expansion set. Some interesting cards can be found in this expansion...so let's begin.

So far, we know this hot set will have at least 147 cards in English, and release around August 4th 2017 in the USA.

There are Lycanroc and Alolan Ninetales theme decks also included in this set.

The set will also come with a new Lysandre+Switch in one uniqe card with the name “Guzma“. Guzma is supporter card, and it will be a main staple in every standard deck - maybe even in expanded format decks.

Since water Pokemon have Aqua Patch as the acceleration card, a new Tapu Fini GX water Pokemon with 170 HP will see lot of play in the water box, since Hydro Shot can snipe any Pokemon in play for 120 damage (2 water and 1 any type energy). But also, for a single water energy, Tapu Storm GX's attack can shuffle your opponent's Active Pokemon and all their cards attached to it into their deck. If your opponent does not have a benched Pokemon, this attack will do nothing.

Golisopod GX looks like a new grass beast with 210 HP - but it's only a stage 1 Pokemon. This Pokemon can use an easy GX attack and it can also be used as tech in many rainbow decks. He can strike for 120 if he is on the bench, and became an active Pokemon on “this turn."

There are many other GX Pokemon as well, such as Necrozma GX the End of Light ability, which can prevent all damage done to Necrozma GX by attacks from colorless Pokemon - (for example Drampa GX).

Marshadow GX is a counter for Darkrai EX decks, Gardevoir GX, stage 2 Pokemon with 230 HP with an ability that allows him to attach an energy from your hand to a Pokemon in play. Alolan Muk GX is also included in this set, and some other cool GX cards like Charizard and Ho-Oh.

Competitive players are probably happy again to see Super Scoop Up reprinted, but this time its also printed as a secret rare card as well as the secret rare Rescue Strecher.

Some other good trainer cards that can be found in the Burning Shadows set, such as Muscle Dumbbells - a tool card that will add 40 more HP to a Stage 1 Pokemon in play, and a Kiawe supporter card that allows you to search your deck for four fire energy cards and attach them to one of your Pokemon in play!

Overall another amazing set. All the cards will be avalible for preorder in our online store very soon! If you looking right now to preorder a sealed booster box - you can always trade in your bulk to us as well!
