 2017 Pokemon World Championship decks

This year was a very interesting year for all Pokemon players. The 2016 and 2017 Standard format cards were legal from Primal Clash onward, up to the latest set - Burning Shadows. At that time when the Pokemon TCG WOrld Championships were held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, there were $500.000 in prizes up for grabs, the biggest WC so far!

Four different decks are avalible this year. For the Junior Division, we will have the deck that Kabu Fukase used, and it is a Decidueye GX deck. Tobias Stromhdal from Denmark won with the same deck that won also in the other division. Decidueye GX is not really playable anymore in the standard format, since Forest of Giant Plants is out of rotation - but Decidueye GX is still one of the best cards in the current format.

Going on with the other divisions, we will also have one deck from the Senior Division - it's Zachary Bokhari's Alolan Ninetales GX deck. Alolan Ninetales GX is still a strong deck. Aqua Patch and the new Alolan Ninetales that block's an EX/GX Pokemon from damaging him makes this deck even stronger.

From the Masters Division, we have two decks as usual, the winning and the runner up deck. Diego Cassiraga from Argentina won in the Master Division with a Gardevoir GX deck, against Naoto Suzuki from Japan who played with a Golisopod GX deck. Both decks are still Tier 1 decks today!

Many different cards are avalible with four new World Championship deck and they are must have for any casual and pro player. Singles can also be great for proxy testing for the big events with friends. Every deck will comes with strong cards like Tapu Lele GX, N, Sycamore, Float Stone etc, however the cards are not legal for official tournament play.

As usual this year we will have sealed decks as well as all singles from every World Championship deck in our store.
